Slack notifications via incoming webhooks

Paste your Slack incoming webhook URL and start receiving rich Block Kit notifications for every document lifecycle event. Filter by event type so each channel stays focused.

Everything your team needs

Simple setup, rich formatting, and granular event filtering.

Simple webhook setup

Paste your Slack incoming webhook URL from your channel settings. No OAuth flow, no app approval process, no complex permissions.

Rich Block Kit messages

Notifications use Slack Block Kit for clean formatting with status indicators, document links, and contextual metadata.

Event type filtering

Choose which of the 16 domain event types trigger Slack notifications. Keep channels focused on what matters to each team.

Failure resilience

Failed deliveries are tracked automatically. After repeated failures the integration pauses itself to prevent noise, and can be re-enabled at any time.

URL validation

Webhook URLs are validated against the official Slack webhook domain pattern before saving, preventing configuration errors.

Workspace scoped

Each DocAccessible workspace connects to one Slack webhook. Team members see notifications relevant to their document workflows.

Setup Guide

Three steps to live notifications

01

Create a Slack app with webhooks

Go to api.slack.com/apps, create a new app (or use an existing one), then navigate to Incoming Webhooks and toggle them on. Click "Add New Webhook to Workspace" and select the channel for notifications. Copy the webhook URL.

02

Paste URL in DocAccessible

Open the Integrations dashboard in your DocAccessible workspace. Paste the Slack webhook URL into the input field and select which event types should trigger notifications.

03

Start receiving notifications

Click "Connect Slack" and your channel will immediately begin receiving rich Block Kit notifications for the events you selected.
